I have taken my car many times into Tom Cowan at Toy Town Motors. His friendly staff have always been able to get my car fixed fast. He gives you honest advice and helps you figure out the best and quickest way to get the repair done. I would recommend using Tom if you like honest mechanics that go out of their way to service the customer.

To begin, Joan and I are very grateful to you for the way that you maintain our automobiles. We also appreciate the way that you do a thorough survey of them whenever they are serviced and then give us your verdict as to what needs, or doesn’t need, attending to. If you find any concerns about what you see, you always advise us before you proceed.

In this day and age, it is a very rare occurrence to find an automotive professional who will NOT try to up-sell the customer when no other service is required. We have always had implicit faith in your judgement and in the high quality of your workmanship. Your personal and professional integrity are far beyond to-day’s norm.

We also owe a debt of gratitude to Peter O’Malley, without whose always-valuable advice and assistance we would never have met you.

When I go to see Tom at Toy-Town Motors, I know that I will get the best service EVERY TIME.
Tom is a delight and enjoys educating the car owner about their vehicle and what is really necessary and when. He never over sells or pushes you to do unneccesary or pointless repairs, but he will always tell you what is most important and when it's time to get it done. His prices are reasonable and his care is evident.

I trust Tom with my car implicitly and I would happily reccomend him again and agian!

I have been going to Toy Town Motors for the past 5 years and during that time I have only had world class service! If there is ever a problem I know that it will be take care of at the drop of a hat.

My cars tires started to make noises and the abs break system kept coming on. I wasn't sure what was wrong but I knew something was up so I called Tom to take a look at it.

When he brought it into the shop and discovered the problem that my wheels bearings were coming off and my tires were wearing thin. The car was unfit to drive. Tom called for the parts and was able to complete the job within a couple of hours.

My car runs smoothly and more importantly safely again.

I have been gonig to Glenallen for years. In fact, I started going because my father had been going for many years before. They have always been quick and helpful, often having a courtesy car or driving me to a closeby location at no extra charge.

They have also always been extremely honest, making recommendations that will be good for the customer in the long term, even if Glenallen could have made more another way. Their prices are very reasonable and I can alwas be assured top quality work, great service and free advice when I am there.
Would recommend them to anyone.

I've been using GlenAllen moters for all my family car repair/maintenance needs for many years. I like their reliablity and quality. The work is always done on time. If I book in advance I've always gotten a loaner car at no extra charge. I find the owners very accomadating. Both Glen and Allen are always there overseeing the work done. Highly recommended.

Andy and his staff provide excellent service to all people, no matter their race, gender (yes, he actually respects women), religion, etc. He explains all aspects of car repairs in plain language and doesn't think any question is 'stupid'. Also, he takes great pains to make sure he has qualified staff to service all cars. For example, with my hybrid car, he sent one mechanic specifically to Texas to receive special training on how to maintain a hybrid battery and engine. As well, AE Auto Plus specializes in restoring the engines of antique cars (ie. he has a beautiful 1956 Ford in the back of the shop.) Also has free wi-fi available if you want to do some work while you're waiting for the repair or oil change to be completed. Has free loaner cars available and is happy to give you a lift out to or pick up from Bayview Ave. if needed.

Fast, Honest and Friendly Service

I started coming to this Active Green & Ross after many disappointing experiences with Honda dealerships. Over the past several years I have had no problems having my car taken care of here from oil changes to strut replacement to brake repair to new tires. What I really like most about their service is that they explain all their work in detail and will give you a complete written analysis and go over it with you. The people know what they're talking about and are able to explain it in a way anybody can understand, and not once have I ever felt I was being taken advantage of. I know my car is in good hands. Their website is also excellent..

My check engine light came on shortly after I had a oil change done. I didnt have a mechanic that I regularly went to so I went to Auto Doc. They didn't charge me a penny to hook up the diagnosticator machine to my car to figure out the problem. Other place were willing to charge me any where between $50-$100 just for that. They figured out that I needed a new gas cap and one of my vents was not working properly which is what triggered the check engine light to go on. They charged me $65 for the gas cap because the Honda dealership charged them $65 and they did 4 hours of labour on my car for $0 and they charged me $110 for the part to fix my car because it cost $110. When all was said and done I felt good about it because I spent a lot less then I thought I would, the customer service was great, as I received updated phone calls throughout the process, and I new that I had found my new mechanic.

I have had all of my three cars services at Autoniche on a numerous occasions. I got the regular maintenance work like oil change and tire rotations to major work like Cooling System Repairs to oil pan gasket and body rust repairs. The job is ALWAYS done professionally, never have to wait beyond the estimate time and never have to pay more that quoted. The customer service is superb from a friendly staff (Emily and Anita) to courtesy pick up and drop off (even at 6:00 AM in the morning!!!).

I highly recommend Autoniche.

Great Mechanic - Awesome Service

I took my car in to have the front end aligned after I had slid into a medium on some black ice. The guys in the shop were great. They fixed my car and also told me that one of the belts had shifted on the tires. They put the damaged tire on the rear of the car and told me that I needed to get that replaced. I told them that I would get a tire somewhere else and they didn't pressure me to buy a tire from them.
The mechanic also said that I needed new brakes. He brought out my old break pad to show me that they were bare and disintegrating.

Two mechanics with no-nonsense approach. I've used this shop for about 3 years now. They are usually available to take your car same day on next and they fix it as quickly as they get the parts plus labour time. Cost is reasonable, not the lowest, but if you prefer cheaper you will likely get sub-quality service/parts and longer service time - I am on a budget and used other mechanics, so I have a comparison. Highly recommended.
